In the first video, Brie says: “… there’s been a lot of focus on my successes, and not on how hard it was, how much I was rejected, and you never know all the jobs that I didn’t get. So, I thought it might be interesting to talk about that.”

She went on to discuss all the rejections she faced since she was 7 years old, and there were some movies that caught our attention.

While Brie shared a ton of movies and shows she was rejected from, there were some that caught our attention.

Some of the popular movies and shows that Brie Larson auditioned for and faced rejection include: ‘Terminator’, ‘Hunger Games’, ‘Tomorrowland’, ‘Star Wars’ (all the new movies), ‘Spy Kids’, ‘The Big Bang Theory’, ‘Pearcy Jackson and the Lighting Thief’, ‘Iron Man 2’ (that’s a highlight), ‘Thor’, ‘Avatar’, ‘Drive Angry’, ‘Transformers 2’, ‘Kong: Skull Island’, and so on.

Yes, ‘Iron Man 2’ and ‘Thor’. It’s true that Brie Larson had previously auditioned for these MCU movies and was rejected, and 10 years into the future, she’s Captain Marvel. While Brie was the lead in ‘Kong: Skull Island’, she was, in fact, rejected from it in her first audition and was later selected when she auditioned again.

The list of rejections Brie Larson has faced, and yet being here, flying “higher, further, faster”, only shows her love for the art and her dedication towards acting and cinema.

“It was a very big deal at my house. Me and my sister were in the school at that time, and we were just obsessed …”

Larson’s new found love for Fortnite

In an interview with “Elle” a few months ago, Brie Larson revealed that she is now equally in love with Fortnite, much like her other favourite games. She said:

“Then I’ve also now got Fortnite into the fold and so than for my more competitive friends and family members, that’s become a huge source of connectivity and entertainment. I’ve been quite addicted to that game as well now.”

Adding to that, Fortnite recently introduced Marvel’s Captain Marvel into its fleet under “Marvel Royalty and Warriors Pack”. Following the addition and demand from fans, Brie Larson posted a picture of her playing Fortnite as Captain Marvel on her gorgeous looking custom Nintendo Switch.

Now, it could be either her family name or a name she took from her favourite doll. What matters is that she thought about her millions of fans back then, and took the sweet name Brie Larson, so we could have a bit of less struggle in making her trend every other day.
