APOGEE MINERALS PROVIDES UPDATE ON TRANSACTION WITH ALTO VERDE COPPER

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 30, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

Apogee Minerals Ltd. (“Apogee” or the “Company”) (TSXV: APMI) announces that, further to its press releases dated January 25, 2022, and March 17, 2022, the Company has extended the time for completion of the proposed three-cornered amalgamation (the “Amalgamation”) with Alto Verde Copper Inc. (“Alto Verde”) and 1000136714 Ontario Inc. (“APMI Subco”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.

On March 17, 2022, the Company entered into a definitive agreement (the “Definitive Agreement”) with Alto Verde and APMI Subco, pursuant to which, among other things, the Company will acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares in the capital of Alto Verde (the “Transaction”).

The parties have entered into an amendment to the Definitive Agreement to extend the deadline to complete the Transaction from May 31, 2022 to July 31, 2022.

#Kolkata: Unusual death of a young woman again in the city after Pallabi Bidisha Manjusha. The body of 18-year-old Saraswati Das was found hanging from her house at midnight on Saturday. According to police, Saraswati has committed suicide.

#Kolkata: Unusual death again. This time Ashwini Nagar of Baguia. The deceased was identified as Sadananda Das, aged 51 years. Ophthalmologist by profession. Sadanandababu’s hanging body was recovered from his flat in Baguio shortly after 9pm on Saturday. Baguiati police are investigating the incident.

The initial guess of the police is that the person named Sadananda Das may have committed suicide due to a family dispute. Sadananda Das lived with his wife and one and a half year old son in a flat in Ashwini Nagar, Baguia. Sadananda Babu, an ophthalmologist by profession, has an eyeglass shop in the area. Even though he was a happy person, the neighbors claimed that there was a constant quarrel with his wife Mahua Layek Das in the family. Sadananda Das’s wife was often in trouble.

Did Sadananda Das, an ophthalmologist by profession, choose the path of suicide because of him? A neighbor of the deceased Sadananda Babu said that he met Sadananda Babu shortly before 9 pm on Saturday. After a while, I heard a couple of sounds in the flat, as if the door was being broken. After a while, the six-and-a-half-year-old boy came out of the flat crying. That’s when it became known that such a tragic accident had taken place.

Then the news was given to Baguiati police station. Police recovered the body and took it to a local hospital, where doctors declared Sadananda Das dead. Neighbors further said that there was a constant quarrel between husband Sadananda and wife Mahua. What is the consequence of that incident! However, they could not say anything clearly about that. However, the initial guess of the Baguiat police is that the incident may have happened due to a family dispute. An autopsy will be conducted at RGK Medical College Hospital on Sunday. If necessary, Mahua Layek Das, wife of the late Sadananda Das, will also be questioned, police said.

#Kolkata: Doubts over the death of a minor student were raised among family members. Allegedly, the father of the deceased himself has a hand in death! And so before the cremation, the police of Netajinagar police station in South Kolkata sent the body from Keoratala crematorium to the morgue of SSKM for autopsy. Exactly what caused the death of the minor, will be understood only after the autopsy report.

Snehanshu Sengupta, 18, a resident of Nakatala, died on Friday. On the 11th, Snehanshu was admitted to MR Bangur Hospital in critical condition. As his condition continued to deteriorate, he was shifted to Chittaranjan Hospital on the 20th. Snehanshur died today. After this, Pistuto Didi Indrani Gupta Mukherjee complained that the father had ‘killed’ the boy with an overdose of drugs! When a complaint was lodged at Netajinagar police station, the body was sent from the crematorium to the morgue. There will be an autopsy tomorrow.

Snehanshu’s Pistuto Didi Indrani Gupta Mukherjee alleged, “Snehanshu’s father Shishir Kumar Sengupta got remarried and abused his son a lot.” The arrow of accusation is towards Shishir Kumar Sengupta, his counter-allegation is that sister Indrani wanted to take her son. Nana would give advice, as a result the boy would cause great unrest in the house.

According to family sources, Shishirbabu is not currently associated with any profession. In the past, he worked as a manager in a private company in Saudi Arabia. His first wife died in 2014. He later got married for the second time. Snehanshu’s sister Sriparna said that after her mother died, two brothers and sisters lived in PC’s house for two years. Didi claims that everything that Indrani is complaining about her brother’s death is ‘false’. Sriparna also said that in those two years, her father sent 22,000 rupees to PC from abroad. But Sriparna claims that the PC used to tell them that the father did not send any money.

Police officials said the next step would be taken on the basis of the final report of the autopsy.
