#Pashkura: Due to the release of water from the reservoir with continuous rains, the water level in the Kangsavati river is constantly rising.
Due to heavy rains and release of water from the Mukutmanipur reservoir, the water level in the low-lying river, Kansabati river in Panskura, is rising. The water of Kangsavati river is flowing over a kind of danger zone. As the administration has already taken action due to cracks in several dams of the river due to water pressure, the worries of the residents of the riparian areas are also increasing. Concerns have been heightened by the discovery of large cracks in the river embankment in the Trilondpur area of Panskura municipality’s 17th ward. On the other hand, cracks have also appeared on the river banks including Serhati in Ward No. 3.
The Irrigation Department has already started repairing these broken river banks. People in large areas including wards 16 and 3 of Panskura were terrified due to cracks in the river dam. On the other hand, the panchayat area has increased the concern of excess water in rural areas like Gobindnagar, Mysore, Haur, Radhaballavpur. Vast areas including Panskura town have already been inundated with rain water. Panskura area is dependent on vegetable cultivation.
Local farmers have suffered as all vegetable cultivation has gone under water. As the situation turned sour, Tamiruk Irrigation Department official Abhirup Majumder, Irrigation Department Engineer Udayan Bhattacharya, Panskura BDO Dhendhup Bhutia, Panshkura Panchayat Samiti president Manoranjan Malik and other officials patrolled the river bank all night. On the one hand, the water of the river is constantly rising, just like the water from the Mukutmanipur barrage, it is standing on the knees of the people of the area.

#Kolkata: South Bengal ahead in rains. Even in the monsoon season, there is a shortage of rain in North Bengal. Kolkata receives the heaviest rainfall due to low pressure. According to the Alipore Meteorological Department, 319 per cent more rain fell across South Bengal from July 26 to 30 due to the apparent low pressure in West Bengal. Kolkata alone received 362 percent more rainfall.
#Kolkata: The team is one. Both are party MPs. However, the battle between Babul Supriya and Dilip Ghosh is not unknown to anyone in the Bengal BJP camp. Dilip’s remarks brought Babul back to the forefront after he announced on Facebook on Saturday that he was taking over the political post. Speaking to Dilip Ghosh at the press conference, Babul Supriya said, “I don’t see who wrote what on Facebook. Has he resigned? Find out. “As well as his addition,” Who’s going where, why should I say that? Coming or leaving politics is a personal matter. I will not say anything. Aunt must have a mustache first. ‘ Babul countered Dilip’s comment on Facebook. Late Saturday night, Babul wrote, ‘You don’t have to deal with this kind of personality or comment every day. Tell me how much positive energy will be saved which I can use for other honest purposes. Below are two fresh examples … The first quote is courtesy of Mr. Kunal Ghosh and the second, Mr. Dilip Ghosh. ‘
In fact, the Babul Supriya chapter is not closing at all. BJP all-India president JP Nadda telephoned him on Saturday night and asked him to resign. But that did not change the situation. According to BJP sources, Babul’s anger has been lingering in my mind for a long time And behind him is Dilip Ghosh. It is as clear as daylight now.
But two-time MP Babul Supriya is also pointing fingers at Dilip Ghosh due to his anger. While the BJP state president is mocking Babul’s resignation or quitting politics, BJP spokesperson Shamik Bhattacharya says, I have requested not to leave politics. I hope he will stay in the BJP.
Former BJP president Rahul Sinha also commented, ‘When I was the state president, Babul became the first MP. He is important to the team. I think he made that decision out of emotion. Everything will be fine in a few days. Babul Supriya was in BJP, he is, he will be. ‘ The same goes for Jayaprakash Majumdar.
But the battle between Babul and Dilip does not seem to be stopping at all. Referring to Dilip Ghosh as ‘Mr.’, Babul wrote on Facebook, ‘Because Babul wrote,’ ওThere will be no army-feudal, security with government money. If I am not in the politics of voting, no one’s interest will be harmed, so (maybe) no one will stop my work for political reasons. Anyone who has seen, understood, supported, strongly opposed, questioned, apologized, some people have used language according to their own tastes — everything is top notch. But I can also answer your question at work What does it take to have a minister or an MP? ‘

‘Happy Endings’ Cancelled After Season 3
Created by David Caspe for ABC, ‘Happy Endings’ is a comedy series that follows a group of friends as they explore the ups and downs of adulthood together in Chicago. The series went for three seasons between 2011 and 2013. However, the show executives decided against a fourth season taking it off the air in May 2013. In fact, initially, TV critics felt that the show had nothing new to offer for comedy as a genre. Soon enough, opinions about this hit comedy series changed as the show began to develop multiple layers infused in it with social commentary being a massive factor.
Nevertheless, the show received a mixed bag of responses towards the end of its run that led it to cancellation. Season 3 of ‘Happy Endings’ hit a low as the ratings dropped considerably. Evidently, the producers decided to cancel the show after season 3 in May 2013. Following the cancellation of the show, USA, the cable network, even considered picking it up although that never happened. Another reason that contributed majorly to the cancellation of ‘Happy Endings’ ahead of season 4 is that ABC played around with the broadcast order of the show way too much, especially with respect to the weekly time slots. Now that ‘Happy Endings’ is finally on Netflix and that the online streamers are onboard watching the show adding to its already cult fan following, there’s a thirst building up for the show to be renewed for season 4.
It is not just the fans who are desperately waiting for season 4 of ‘Happy Endings’ to be renewed. The ‘Happy Endings’ team is equally interested in the idea. In 2020, a reunion of the ‘Happy Endings’ team happened over a Zoom episode where the cast members of the show had a discussion on the potential possibility of a season 4. The actors expressed on a positive note that they would be willing to get back to the show for a season 4 or even for a movie or a reboot of the same. Eliza Coupe, the actor who played the role of Jane on the show told “Entertainment Tonight”, “All of us would love that, [but] about 900 people need to sign off on that before that can happen—all the different networks, all the things”.

In 2019, Karey Burke, the president of ABC Entertainment had made the announcement that the network is open to exploring the option of bringing back ‘Happy Endings’ for season 4. She said, “That is a dream of a lot of people at ABC. I’m hearing that there’s a remote possibility of something. It’s at the very beginning”. Moreover, Zachary Knighton who played Dave on ‘Happy Endings’ confirmed that there had been rumours going around regarding bringing the show back at least for a reboot. He said, “There were some rumours and it was news to me, but I think Sony reached out … I know everybody who was on ‘Happy Endings’ wants to go back and do something, so we’ll see”. Naturally, all of this has added to the notion that ‘Happy Endings’ could be coming back for a season 4 after a long hiatus. Moreover, Netflix is known to have revived many shows from the dead and bringing the show on the platforms seems to offer a silver lining.

No official confirmation has been made yet regarding the renewal of ‘Happy Endings’ Season 4. That being said, given that the cast members, as well as the executives, are on board with the idea of bringing the show back, it could very well be on the table. However, for now, there is nothing that can be said for sure, especially since the cast members of the show are contractually engaged in other projects as well.

#Kolkata: Why is Babul Supriyo suddenly disillusioned with politics? Inside the BJP, it is being heard that Babul has been angry for a long time due to various reasons. Babul Supriya, a celebrity singer-turned-politician, could no longer cope with the defeat in the Assembly elections and the loss of his ministry. Babul also made it clear in one Facebook post after another since yesterday that the push to lose the ministry was one of the reasons for his leaving politics. And with that source, his disagreement with Dilip Ghosh came to light once again. Dilip Babel’s sarcasm surrounding Babul’s Saturday post, ‘What will I say about who will go where, which party will go, whether they will do politics or not!’ And on that basis, Babul became vocal on Facebook again on Sunday morning. Just as Dilip Ghosh’s name is there in the title ‘Mr.’, he also attacked Trinamool spokesperson Kunal Ghosh.
On this day, Babul wrote, ‘You don’t have to deal with this kind of’ personality ‘or comment every day !! Tell me how much positive energy will be saved which I can use for other honest work !! Below are two fresh examples … ‘Kunal Ghosh’ courtesy of the first quote and Mr. Dilip Ghosh of the second. ‘
Regarding Babul’s Facebook post, Trinamool spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said, ‘The Lok Sabha is going on. The speaker is sitting. There is drama on Facebook without resigning. I do not want to leave politics. Desperate attempt to attract attention. Dharmendra got into a water tank in Shole and threatened to kill himself. In fact, he used to sing. Now he is doing drama. ‘ Trinamool general secretary Kunal Ghosh also said that Babul is a member of the circus party. Some of them showed the circus before the vote. After someone votes. The new addition is Babul Supriya. ‘ Meanwhile, Jitendra Tiwari, the former mayor of Asansol and former MLA of Pandavaswar, who was an obstacle to Jitendra Tiwari’s joining the BJP, commented that the post on social media was not good news for Asansol. Jitendra thinks that people like Babul Supriya need to be in politics.
But the speculation about Babul’s Facebook post is not stopping at all. Babul writes, ‘There will be no army-feudal, security with government money If it is not in the politics of voting, no one’s interest will be harmed, so (maybe) no one will stop my work for political reasons. “Not only that, he sneered at Dilip and wrote again, ‘Anyone who has seen, understood, supported, strongly opposed, questioned, apologized, some people have used’ language ‘according to their own tastes – it’s all heady.” But I can also answer your question at work What does it take to have a minister or an MP? ‘
