#Kolkata: On Christmas day, a young woman was saved from great danger. He came with friends to visit St. Paul’s Cathedral in Calcutta. At the church where visitors come to pay their respects by lighting candles for the Lord Jesus, a girl with open hair walks back to the porch of the burning candle and takes a selfie. In a moment, her hair caught fire. Extreme panic and excitement was created in everyone who was standing next to him. Everyone standing next to him started putting out the fire of hair with sheets and clothes.
The fire was extinguished in a moment. The girl was not harmed. Immediately the security personnel came and took the girl away. St. Paul’s Cathedral has been packed with visitors since yesterday morning. December 25 is Christmas. On this happy day, people flocked to the church grounds. There was a rush to take eye-catching selfies among the elders from Kachikacha among them.
Not only the girl but a lot of people were coming and taking selfies by the side of the candle porch. When the girl’s hair caught fire, everyone was terrified. That is to say, no one has learned how to take selfies yet. Going to take a selfie, getting cut somewhere in the train, falling somewhere or from a tall building, catching fire in his hair on December 25 reminded me again and again of carelessness.
However, the church authorities did not show any interest in the matter. However, the girl survived the big accident. He came to visit with his friends. Suddenly this incident happened and everyone was terrified. His companions immediately took him away. However, those who were standing around, without them, the girl’s life could have been lost, many say.

Scarlett Johansson might have bid farewell to ‘Black Widow’, but her relationship with the MCU isn’t ending. In a recent interview, Feige hinted at an extended role for the actress in the universe but, is it the right step?
Scarlett Johansson has had a long and established career as an actress. But, little has given her as much fame as her role in ‘Black Widow’. Now, with different things in the line and with Natasha Romanoff dead in the MCU, the story has moved on from her early project. But, there might be a future for her yet. Feige has hinted at a Scarlett Johansson secret Marvel project. But, where did she start from, and does she deserve what she has gained.

Scarlett Johansson career
As Black Widow
Future in MCU
The Career
When asked about the recent controversies that have marred her career, Johansson said, “Yeah, I’ve made a career out of it”. She started with a role in ‘Manny and Lo’ in 1996, where she played the 11-year old Amanda.
She found more widespread success with the Robert Redford film, ‘The Horse Whisperer’. She continued down the line with more parts as a child actress and worked through the whole decade of the 90s acting in various movies as a child. Her first huge break came with ‘Lost in Translation’, a classic film directed by Sofia Coppola, which was universally praised and has gone down in history as one of the best films ever made.
When asked about casting Scarlett, who was relatively new to Hollywood back then, Sofia Coppola said,
“I just liked her from that movie ‘Manny & Lo’, and she was 17, but I had this idea of her being this young Lauren Bacall-type girl. I loved her low voice. You can’t gauge the chemistry unless you do tests before you start shooting, and I don’t think they even met before we did, so I just picked someone I liked and hoped that it worked”.
Her story has been of continuous success since then. Her long-standing collaborations with Woody Allen have been lauded for being great as well. The movies ‘Matchpoint’ and ‘Scoop’ were great successes, and she graduated to great films with other directors.
One of the critical points of her career was her part in ‘Her’. The role as the disembodied voice AI was seen as a triumphant acting achievement, and ‘Under the Skin’, the Jonathan Glazer film won several awards at international film festivals. But, by then, she was charting a different sort of success, with MCU in her bag.
‘Black Widow’
One of the first recurring characters in the MCU was Black Widow. She helped recruit Iron Man to the cause of Avengers, and Scarlett played the role well. It was also one of the parts that would make her the most famous actress on the planet, with a dedicated fan following which hung on her every word. The story of Natasha Romanoff was also well told, even though she only got a solo film after ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
Scarlett Johansson’s secret Marvel project could turn out to be a dud
Marvel did make ‘Black Widow’ this year. However, it was disappointing. Part of it was because MCU had already pushed out great films one after the other, and it didn’t work as well. Also, the story focused on Yelena, making her character way more prominent, and Scarlett ended faring less. As an NYTimes reviewer said,
“I’d hoped ‘Black Widow’ could be deadly and fierce, but it ultimately slides just under the radar”.
So, is Scarlett Johansson’s exit from MCU going to be a lukewarm movie that just introduces some new concepts? Kevin Feige disagrees.
Hush-hush new project
Kevin Feige recently admitted, “Scarlett has lent her talent and star power to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for over a decade. That she’s chosen to play a key part in it for so many years, I am extremely grateful for. Working with her has truly been one of the most memorable and rewarding collaborations of my career”.
In the same interview, he also said a Marvel top-secret new project with Scarlett Johansson is in the works. Feige spent the interview complimenting Scarlett’s role as an executive producer on ‘Black Widow,’ hinting at a producer role in the MCU in the future. But, it’s not all great.
As mentioned earlier, ‘Black Widow’ was a disappointment. With Scarlett’s track record, the new project could also turn out to be a dud. Is Scarlett Johansson the right direction for an MCU that’s taking over new stories in its next chapter?
Scarlett Johansson might be a brilliant actress but, the story of her productions in MCU doesn’t show up well. The actress will still be working with a top-secret Marvel project, and the estimates don’t seem significant. Can the actress recover from the ‘Black Widow’ dud and turn out a good film? Let us know what you think.
Henry Cavill’s ‘The Witcher’ is one of the most successful series on Netflix. As the makers want to do at least seven more seasons, Henry agreed but has put forth a condition if the makers want Henry to stay on board.
‘The Witcher’ book and the video game series shared one thing, some really great storylines. Never did the books feel that they are forced or being written for the sake of it. When Netflix produced the series, it became a worldwide critical and commercial success. ‘The Witcher’ was immediately renewed for a second season, which was released in December 2021 to an exceptionally good response as well. Now there are talks about a third season. But there was a question. Given Henry Cavill’s busy filming schedules, has it ever been a possibility that the series might last for another seven episodes, as the series creator Lauren Schmidt Hissrich has in mind? Lauren has clarified that she has a lot of ideas for the further seasons and she can clearly see ‘The Witcher’ running for seven more seasons. Henry Cavill agreed to it, but not unconditionally.

Henry Cavill ‘The Witcher’ return condition
Henry Cavill ‘The Witcher 3’
Henry Cavill recently had a chat with The Hollywood Reporter where he clarified that he has no problem playing Geralt of Rivia for the next seven seasons. But, as per him, this ambitious plan needs to work on one condition. That condition is to keep the high-quality programming standards intact. He also mentioned that he would want the writers to respect the source material, the books while writing the screenplays for the next seasons. Thus, in a way, he wants utmost respect to be paid to the original author of The Witcher book series, Andrzej Sapkowski. If the showrunners keep up with this promise, Henry will have no problem playing the monster-hunting warrior for the next seven seasons.
Henry Cavill’s Conditions To Return to The Witcher
These conditions don’t seem too far-fetched for the creators it seems. The writing process of the first two seasons has been a major sign that the writers respect the source material truly and are faithful to the original author. Despite that, there are minor changes made to the overall storyline in order to make it fit for the television medium. But that much is warranted, given the fact that books and TV shows are two vastly different mediums. Henry also has some ideas for the character, which is a slight diversion from the books. People at Netflix did mention that Henry’s involvement in the series is way above just being the actor on the sets. Henry suggested making a few changes to the second season and asked the makers to open up the character of Geralt a bit more. Hence, a few more dialogues for Geralt were added.
The second season initially focuses on the third book in ‘The Witcher’ book series, titled ‘The Last Wish’. It will give the audience easy access to understand the different family dynamics and relationships between several key characters in the series. The season will perhaps also see Geralt taking Ciri back to his home in Kaer Morhen.
While the makers and Henry have agreed on the seven-season run of the series, there is still Netflix’s nod to come. Netflix is notorious to pull the plugs on various series’ abruptly. So far, season 2 is performing quite well and there is a good chance that season 3 will be announced sooner rather than later.
‘The Witcher’ Season 2 premiered on Netflix on December 17, 2021, and has received some really good reviews. The wait for season 3 is already on!
Tell us in the comments what are your opinions on where Geralt’s journey would take him in further seasons. Also, tell us what makes you adore ‘The Witcher’ so much?
The lack of a worthy story and presence of unworthy direction ruined ‘No Time To Die’. The last James Bond film of Daniel Craig deserved a better ending.
Being Daniel Craig’s fifth and last portrayal as fictional MI6 agent James Bond, the movie was ought to receive appreciation and love. Just like fans of ‘The Avengers: Endgame’, fans of this movie too had high expectations from the film.
Highlights —
Direction unworthy of a James Bond movie
Misuse of plot-armour
Overly visible plot
So, what led ‘No Time To Die’ downhill? The fans and audience of the franchise expected better action sequences, a convincing storyline, and a villain who could make us question James Bond’s cause.
Direction unworthy of a James Bond movie
Direction unworthy of a James Bond movie
The movie started with the loose ends of an incident from the past of the female lead. This directly hints that one of the enemies of the female lead is going to be the villain. Moreover, while the movie was shot at exotic locations and has some very beautiful sceneries, it is not what draws fans towards spy movies, and definitely not James Bond movies. The Bond series is famous for its actions, combats, and stunts, which were there in this movie but not quite what the audience wanted to see. Most of the fighting scenes were long-range or mid-range gunfights. There was rarely any hand-to-hand combat or martial arts which the fans are mostly crazy about.
Throughout the movie, you’ll find plot armours protecting James Bond. Now, for those of you who don’t know what plot armour is, it is a technique filmmakers use to assist the protagonist. These are mostly based on miraculous feats or rare events. The movie has these in abundance.
Plot, Plot, Plot
If you’re a James Bond fan, then you deserve to know what went wrong in the making of this film; its direction, story, character development, revelation plots and many other aspects. The story was generic, just a regular story of the protagonist leading a happy life and suddenly emerges an antagonist from the previous chapters of his life. The villain tries to disturb his life and also plans on taking over the world with a generic plan. The hero tries to intervene in these malicious plans. In order to prevent the hero from disturbing his plan, the villain takes his family hostage. The hero struggles unnecessarily and miraculously saves the world, his family and the audiences’ expectations.
The direction of the major revelations of the story was somewhat predictable, more like an open book. This last James Bond movie deserved every bit of attention to detail and effort. There could have at least been a more interesting background story for the emergence of the villain, Safin, who is played by Rami Malek.
Despite not being up to what was expected, the movie performed well, mostly because of Daniel Craig’s charm and also because it was the Endgame of Daniel Craig’s James Bond series. Was there anything in the film that was pretty awesome and caught your attention? Tell other movie-geeks in the comments below and let’s discuss.

TRON has established dual headquarters in the Americas and the Asia Pacific with the establishment of more overseas offices in preparation and our team in rapid expansion.
Singapore, Dec. 24, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Justin Sun, Founder of TRON, today revealed that he won bid for the first seat on Blue Origin’s Inaugural New Shepard rocket. The full bid amount of $28 million went to Blue Origin’s foundation Club for the Future, which in turn benefited 19 space-based charities to inspire future generations to pursue careers in STEM and help invent the future of life in space. Sun came to an agreement to take five additional crewmates with him on his new voyage.
Justin Sun said that with the rapid development of commercial aerospace, entering space may become a dream that every person can realize in his lifetime. The world is entering the era of great spaceflight. This great journey requires more people to get involved.
It is reported that while the demand for space tourism is strong and growing, the market supply is seriously insufficient. As part of his new voyage, Sun is launching the “Sea of Stars” campaign named after the Chinese idiom “Xing Chen Da Hai,” to convey that Earth is where the chapter of human life starts for our future generations, not where it ends.
Sun and his five selected crewmates will fly on a New Shepard flight in Q4 of 2022. Sun will personally select the five men and women to travel with him over the coming months by releasing a name every two months. One of five crewmates will be chosen from Tron Dao Community. Each person selected will hold an outstanding status in their own field while having a strong will to explore space. Representative fields will include fashion, art, technology, space exploration, and entrepreneurship.
“With the rapid development of commercial aerospace, entering space may become a dream that every person can realize in his or her lifetime. The world is entering the era of great spaceflight. This great journey requires more people to get involved,” said Justin Sun, Founder of TRON. “The initiative of Blue Origin to take more people to space to see Earth as our singular common home is extraordinary. Club for the Future offers a way to use that experience to inspire youth around the world to dream and act on their dreams of science, technology, and space exploration. I felt compelled to help further that vision through my bid.”
