Gunn is not revealing anything related to ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’. Peacemaker has become a sensation in the past few weeks, particularly because of the out of the box plot and over-the-top comedy reforming the image of the DCEU. The much-anticipated finale was released on Thursday, 15th February, and managed to live up to the expectations.
Before the finale of ‘Peacemaker’, Gunn teased a big surprise for the fans. Also, the filmmaker revealed a surprising Marvel connection.
Gunn said that while filming the finale of ‘Peacemaker’, they were hugely understaffed. In the interview, Gunn revealed that his team talked to ‘Aquaman’s’ star Jason Momoa about reprising his role. He laughed out loud when Peacemaker jokes on Aquaman like, “You fuck with fish all the time“. Gunn feared that Mamoa would be offended, but the actor laughed out loud.

The director explained that “Marvel owed DC” because the ‘Peacemaker’ crew helped them in filming the screen test for Chukwudi Iwuji’s role for Vol. 3. This helped him gain Ezra Miller for the Peacemaker.

It seems like everything is sweet between Marvel and DC studios as against what is projected in the media. James Gunn’s revelation indicates good working chemistry between the studio giants.
Peacemaker star Chudwuki Iwuji, who would now star in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’, is again a sign of a good relationship between them.

In such an environment of fear, what should have been, will not happen. The election of the state committee will be discussed on the 5th. Matt Reeves has clearly stated that ‘The Batman’ will not have any DCEU influence whatsoever. But a new development regarding the film hints towards the involvement of a character from the Superman universe.
‘The Batman’, directed by Matt Reeves, will arrive in the first week of March 2022 after a long wait. Reeves has categorically stated that his version of Batman is totally different from the one we saw in DCEU with Ben Affleck playing the role. Hence, the fans were assured that ‘The Batman’ will be a standalone film and will have no other characters from other DCEU films or superheroes. But some new information regarding the film is challenging this perception. Thanks to the upcoming superhero film’s tie-in novelization, there is a great chance that at least for one character, ‘The Batman’ will venture out of Gotham City and explore other territories of the vast DC universe.

A character named Rex says this to another character, which confirms the existence of the world of Metropolis outside the boundaries of Gotham. It can also mean that one of Superman’s villains from the city of Metropolis might get to lock horns with Robert Pattinson’s Batman/Bruce Wayne.
However, it can’t be said for certain that the film will have any character or obvious nods from the world of Superman, but it does indicate ‘something’. Not with this film, but perhaps in the future Batman films by Matt Reeves, will we get to explore some new villains, probably from the Superman Universe. However, considering the current trend in the Superhero universes, it is highly unlikely that Matt Reeves will contain the Dark Knight in the world of Gotham in the upcoming sequels as well.

The DC cinematic universe has been on the downside of things since the debacle of ‘Justice League’, which was helmed by Joss Whedon, who took over from Zack Snyder. Even after ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ received a massive response, DC seems to be in no mood to revive the franchise to allow the fans to achieve a conclusion to the ongoing saga, which was left incomplete. Director Zack Snyder has also shown no interest in the revival of the DC cinematic universe built up lovingly by him.
On the other hand, actors Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are both unsure about their future with the DCEU. So, the success of ‘The Batman’ matters a lot for the future of the DC cinematic universe.

‘Stranger Things’ is a Netflix-exclusive American science fiction horror drama television series developed by the Duffer Brothers. Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, Dacre Montgomery, and Maya Hawke are among the ensemble cast members.
The show is set in Hawkins, Indiana, in the early 1980s, in a fictional rural hamlet. The neighbouring Hawkins National Laboratory purports to do scientific research for the US Department of Energy, but it secretly conducts paranormal and supernatural operations, including those involving human test subjects. They have unintentionally established a doorway to another reality known as “the Upside Down”. The Upside Down’s influence begins to have disastrous consequences for the citizens of Hawkins who are unaware of it.
‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 will premiere with two parts
Show creators Matt and Ross Duffer said in a letter released to fans, “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for ‘Stranger Things’. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but – as you’ll see for yourselves – we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last”.
‘Stranger Things 4’ will release its first half on May 27th, with the second half premiering on July 1st. Additionally, the possibility of future spin-offs has also been teased by the Duffer Brothers.
