On the advice of the party’s all-India president, Adhir Chowdhury appealed to Prime Minister Modi to give Rs 6,000 a month directly to unemployed people and free food. He is eager to transfer the money to their bank account every month.
In the letter, Adhir Chowdhury, president of the provincial Congress, mentioned Sonia Gandhi’s proposal. It is to be mentioned that Sonia recently demanded that besides providing free food grains to the unemployed people in the lockdown, they should also be given Tk 6,000 per month. Referring to the issue, Adhir Chowdhury requested the central government to take immediate action. He demanded to send money to the bank accounts of poor people.
