Heavy rain is expected in North and South 24 Parganas, Kolkata, East Midnapore, Jhargram, West Midnapore, Bankura, Purulia and Kochbihar, Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri on Thursday and Friday. However, rain is forecast in different parts of the north on Friday. The downpour will continue till next week.
