‘Cardi B is coming’ turned into one of the top Twitter trends on Monday morning after the US rapper posted a cryptic video across her social media accounts.
That, however, wasn’t the only intriguing part of the video, especially for the desis.
In her 12-second-video, the rapper and actress can be seen walking down the stairs as she says, “I got an announcement to make tomorrow. Bye.”
The video had her fans instantly speculating.
“New video? A new single? New album?” various fans wrote on Instagram and Twitter.
Whilst the west was busy scratching their heads with what was going on, the background music was an instant hit with the Indians. The desis immediately had their heads turned up when Cardi picked ‘Kaliyon Ka Chaman’ as her backdrop music!
The Indian fans were quickly drawn to her choice of music, the rapper chose, for her viral announcement video.
“Kaliyon Ka Chaman” is a hit song from the 1981 Bollywood movie ‘Jyoti’ starring Aruna Irani. The song is sung by the iconic Indian female playback singer Lata Mangeshkar.
Inarguably, with “Kaliyon Ka Chaman”, Cardi B grabbed more attention than she had asked for. Thus, leaving her fans completely bamboozled.

Recently, the pop star gushed over actress Priyanka Chopra for her brilliant performance in Netflix’s “The White Tiger.”
Taking to Twitter, the rapper showered some love to Priyanka Copra and shared how the film left her teary-eyed and angry.
“White tiger is such a great movie. I was crying and angry watching it,” Cardi tweeted on Jan 28. Responding to her tweet, PeeCee wrote, “Kisses always mama! You the best.”
Later, Cardi replied by saying, “Yes You was so sweet and adorable. You was amazing.”
