With that, Jagdeep Dhankhar once again summoned the Chief Secretary of the state. He on Monday summoned the new Chief Secretary Harikrishna Dwivedi to know the details of the law and order situation in the state. The governor also taunted the Mamata government saying that there was no administrative supervision in this regard. Speaking about the law and order situation, the governor also mentioned the incident of May 16 in the statement. He referred to the arrest of four state leaders and ministers in the Narad case, which took place outside the CBI office. Not only that, he also mentioned the type of Chief Minister.
Incidentally, since the results of the vote, the governor has raised the issue of allegations of political violence brought by the BJP. He also visited areas of the state where violence has been high last month. In a tweet today, the governor alleged that the police administration was also helping in the violence. He complained that the state administration was not giving importance to the issue and there was a lack of action at the local administrative level. That is why he has summoned the chief secretary to know what steps the state administration has taken so far to curb post-poll violence.
