The very popular YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger (aka Unbox Therapy) ‘attained’ an iPhone 13 Pro Max model in a new exclusive reveals. The key highlights are all raging about the Apple iPhone 13 upgrade.
iPhone 13 Pro Max Cameras – Bigger & Better?
The size of the new rear cameras cannot miss your attention; indeed, while the images are speaking for themselves. The YouTuber measures the phone using calibers and is also seen comparing it with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 13 Pro Max is 16.99 mm in size compared to iPhone 12 Pro Max which was 14.10mm. That means the upgraded iPhone 13 is 20 percent bigger in length for each camera module. It looks like one of those giant leaps in iPhone’s history that defines the phone for years in terms of appearance.
So, what does this mean? Larger modules mean bigger lenses. And bigger lenses allow more light. That enhances the image quality, especially in poor or low lighting conditions. Also, the entire iPhone 13 range is expected to draw benefit from the bigger lenses. The recent leak of the iPhone 13 Mini designs revealed that the phone is to have only two rear cameras. Yet, it is supersized.

However, the precise specifications are yet to be known for each iPhone 13 camera but the ultra-wide is predicted to the biggest upgrade in quality. According to the leaks, the upgraded phone is scaled up from a five-piece, f2.4, fixed focus lens to a six-piece set with f1.8 autofocus. Given that the ultrawide has been one of the worst-performing iPhone cameras for many generations, the new change is expected to bode well with other modules.
Is it saying Goodbye iPhone 13 Pro Max Notch?
The other significant change for the iPhone 13 Pro Max is a smaller notch. Apple leakers shared the speculated measurements compared to its predecessor. In comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro Max notch measures 34.62mm, and the expected iPhone 13 Pro Max notch is 26.31mm, which is a 30 percent decrease in size. Though it is not the notch-less endgame everyone is waiting for, it is still a considerable reduction for a device that packs in all the components of Apple’s leading Face ID facial recognition technology.
More Performance
Without new chips, a major iPhone launch would mean nothing, and this phone would not be an exception. Most people are expecting Apple to launch an A15 chip with a faster and enhanced battery life. Though it’s still not known how improved A15 would be, the A14 is already quicker than any of its Android counterparts.
Apple uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 modem in the iPhone 12 series, and the next one is expected to use the 2021 Snapdragon X60. According to Barclays, researchers’ support for Wi-Fi 6E brings the technology to a much faster and reduced-lag 6 GHz band.

A USB-C, iOS 15, and a fingerprint reader could make the iPhone 13 such a welcome upgrade. Having to forego hopes for an iPhone 13 with USB-C, there’s no denying that it would be a great delight to see Apple embrace the USB-C, there still seems like we cannot count on a port change anytime soon. It may be worth remembering that iOS 14 brought limited app default and Home Screen widgets changes that many users thought would never be possible. So, if iOS 15 ushers in more such changes, the iPhone 13 may entice more Android fans even if the hardware is just a modest upgrade.
Could Apple make a pink iPhone?
The notable leaks of a pink iPhone doing the rounds on the internet that sent many fans to go crazy did not make Apple officially accept it or deny it. But what are the odds of a pink iPhone 13 being launched in 2021? Doesn’t look that terrible to most Apple lovers. It would not be the first time that Apple launched a pink phone. In 2013, Apple released iPhone 5C in pink, and in 2018, iPhone XR was released in coral color and not to forget the 2015 iPhone 6S in rose gold.
