‘Bullet Train’ gets a July 2022 release
‘Bullet Train’ began filming in October 2020, during the COVID-19 epidemic and finished in March of 2021. The action sequences and fight choreography in Leitch’s previous films drew a lot of attention. He directed ‘Atomic Blonde’, ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’, and ‘John Wick‘ in addition to the ‘Deadpool‘ sequel (in an uncredited role). Fans have been waiting for more information or a sneak peek at the action in his upcoming film, especially after the filmmaker revealed more about the actors. It also included Brad Pitt, who did the majority of the stunts himself.
According to the latest source, Sony has opted to postpone the release of ‘Bullet Train’ to July 29, 2022, rather than the original July 15, 2022 release date. The film now avoids a clash with Disney’s MCU threequel ‘Thor: Love and Thunder‘, which is set to open on 8th July and is expected to draw a large audience.

‘Bullet Train’ will be released on premium large format screens on a weekend when no other major studio releases are scheduled. ‘Bullet Train’ will be released on premium large format screens over a weekend when no other major studio pictures are scheduled to be released.
While the news of ‘Bullet Train’s new release date may upset some, considering the year’s box office results, it may prove to be a wise decision on Sony’s part to avoid competition. ‘Bullet Train’ cast members, such as Joey King, have taken to social media to share set images, raising even more anticipation for the trailer’s eventual release. However, Bullock’s casting occurred after Lady Gaga had to pull out of her role due to schedule difficulties, so the release date isn’t the first alteration the picture has had to make.
What is ‘Bullet Train’ about?
‘Bullet Train’, based on Ktar Isaka’s Japanese novel, follows a Japanese ‘Bullet Train’ on a high-speed journey from Tokyo to Morioka with few stops in between. There are five assassins aboard the car, each with their mission. Unbeknownst to them, they are all related. When the assassins discover the truth, they must fight for their lives amongst themselves to discover the secrets that await them at their destination.
The plot appears to promise a lot of harsh, nonstop action, and it looks a lot like the John Wick trilogy. While an R-rated film appears to be a foregone conclusion given that, except for Hobbs & Shaw, all of Leitch’s films have received that classification. Sony may opt for a PG-13 rating in order to include younger audiences in turmoil.
‘Bullet Train’: Trailer
Sony launched the ‘Bullet Train’ marketing campaign in March 2022. After a viral video got discovered online in late February, the first ‘Bullet Train’ teaser appeared in early March. It was the first-time viewers saw Brad Pitt confronted by a dozen different assassins. The footage featured the film’s exciting action sequences as well as some humorous moments. The internet’s immediate reaction to the ‘Bullet Train’ marketing was overwhelmingly positive, indicating that Sony may have a hit on its hands.
