How will a possible ‘Hangover 4’ look Like
The storyline of ‘Hangover’ 4 will, like always, involve the four friends, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis), and Doug (Justin Bartha), who would encounter an unexpected series of events at one of their single guy parties.
The past ‘Hangover’ parts would involve one person getting lost amidst a depraved evening and the other three locating him. The lost person would be found in a miserable condition without any memory of the previous night.
The rest of the film would involve figuring out all the mayhem that uncovered during the time, that somehow the character cannot recall. The famous gang have been to Las Vegas and Bangkok.
The third part of ‘Hangover’ shuffled things a bit. The gang decided to take on a road trip. After his appearances in the first two parts, drug lord Mr Chow’s (Kendrick Kang-Joh Jeong) role was extended in the last ‘Hangover’ movie where he kidnapped one of the primary characters.
If there is a possible ‘Hangover 4’ in the future, we can safely expect it to follow its past storyline patterns. Fans have been waiting for a string of misfortunes to unfold on the big screen. Even though ‘Hangover 3’ wrapped up the storyline for the gang, we can surely hope for a reboot in the future.
Which was the best ‘Hangover’ part?
Undoubtedly, the first part of ‘Hangover’ was the best. The very first ‘Hangover’ released in 2009 and took us through classic bachelor party shenanigans. It became one of the most loved comedies in no time. The movie managed to earn almost $470 million on a $35 million budget. It soon became one of the highest-grossing R-rated films in cinematic history.
The witty storyline and quirky characters made it a raging success that is loved even today. ‘Hangover’ part 1 involved friend Phil and Stu taking their friend Doug and his future brother-in-law Alan on a trip to Las Vegas for his bachelor party. Things quickly took a turn when Phil, Alan, and Stu wake up in the morning and realize they have lost Doug.
The critically acclaimed part 1 also managed to win a Golden Globe award. The incredible success of the first part led to the makers deciding to make it a franchise. Unfortunately, the excellent storyline did not continue in its other two parts.
The second part was set on the same premises as the first part. But this time the gang landed themselves in trouble in Thailand just before Stu’s wedding to Lauren (Jamie Chung). Lauren’s brother Teddy (Mason Lee) gets lost. The movie was highly criticized for its tone-deaf jokes about race. ‘Hangover 3’ released in 2013 and also failed to make an impact. Despite their failures, part two and three earned millions of dollars at the box office.
